You never know what a day will bring! On Friday morning Gary and I headed out to a local Christmas tree farm. For the first time in years, we had a "real" tree in 2020 and decided on a dime to do it again this year. With it being Friday we thought there wouldn't me a crowd, so off we set after breakfast.
Bucchianeri Tree Farm in located in Monongahela, PA and Gary was careful to call before we left for our destination. They were open and we were welcome to come. What a surprise when we arrived and were the only car in the area and no one was to be found. In a few short minutes we heard a tractor and here came an older gentleman who we found out later was the owner of the tree farm, Bernie, and the adventure began.
He told us all about the farm, we saw the barns and he walked us through the process of picking the right tree. It was fantastic. So today I am thankful for farms, barns, seniors who remind me of my folks and the delightful stories of his adventures!
